Business Development Manager
When did you start?
I graduated from University with a degree in Politics in 2010 and joined a large multinational company called Flex. Here I worked in a number of Supply Chain roles mainly dealing with large ODMs in China and Taiwan.
In 2016 I joined the Matchstick Men group where, prior to becoming a Business Development Manager for Product Care, I was a Buyer with our sister company G2S. This gave me exposure to most of the major players in the Domestic Appliance Industry as well as an understanding of the nuances around delivering complex items direct to customers.
Before starting my current role, i was a Business Analyst for our parent company G2S.
What you do & what’s been your highlight so far?
I nurture relationships and look to grow our Third Party Logistics business with external clients including the likes of Beko, LG and Posturite
I get excited by anything new, whether that be a new way of working with one of our existing customers or onboarding and integrating a new partner. There also seems to be an endless supply of new external challenges to navigate (e.g. Brexit / Covid), however the agility of our business means we are able to keep pace with and take the lead in these areas.
